About Me

Hi, I’m Hannah, founder of Above and Beyond careers

I am a little bit of everything! I have qualifications in Linguistics, Agriculture and I am a registered careers professional with my level 6 in careers. I have struggled as a single working mum and managed to get my two children to the ages they are now almost in one piece! There have been broken legs and dislocated knees along the way mind you! In my personal life I love baking, gardening, reading and camping, mainly in Wales (yup even in the rain!). I am fiercely passionate about making sure no-one feels like a failure. I will help anyone no matter what the topic, subject or problem, I will endeavour to find something to help. I am a strong believer in making the most out of life, taking chances and finding opportunities. I have only got this far in my own life through determination, hard work and some serious planning and organising. Hopefully, there is an element of Above and Beyond Careers that can support you. If there isn’t let me know and I shall see if I can fix that!

“After years of apply for jobs and rarely raising an interview, Hannah sat with me and discussed my goals, threw out my old CV format and helped me re-write it. Her CV format is pure magic! I’ve put in three applications over the last year and raised an interview for each. Thank you so much! You have raised my confidence to apply for new roles and ensured my applications catch the eye of the recruiter.” Sarah, Leicestershire

Sarah took the CV short course and then had an hours 1-1 alongside the CV re-write. It took time but over a few weeks she got to where she wanted to be and secured a large pay rise!

Carol, Steve and their son had an hour’s virtual guidance to help their son choose his Post 16 pathways. It was followed up with a 7 page document with all the information they needed and email support.
